The Rejuvaus Repair & Refine ABC Serum is the most active formula in the range. Encapsulated retinaldehyde, encapsulated vitamin B3 and vitamin C superfruit extract from Kakadu plum, delivered via slow-release encapsulation across 8 to 12 hours.
The usual trade-off with active skincare is potency for tolerance, but encapsulation removes that worry. With slow-release Retinal at 0.05% and 10% encapsulated Niacinamide, in an Aloe leaf juice base, buffered by microbiome support and soothing lipids, twice daily use is now possible. What clean actually means in formulation terms
Clean beauty is a term that has been stretched to cover a wide range of claims, some meaningful and some not.
At Rejuvaus, it means specific things.
No artificial fragrances.
Artifical fragrance often labelled as 'parfum' is the single most common cause of contact dermatitis in skincare and has no functional benefit for skin. It is present in most conventional formulas. It is absent from every Rejuvaus formula. We use natural lemongrass at 0.2%.
No silicones.
Silicones create a smooth sensory finish but do not benefit the skin. Rejuvaus uses active ingredients to address skin function, not texture fillers that serve the feel at the expense of the biology.
No petroleum mineral oils.
Occlusive agents that sit on the skin surface without delivering biological benefit. Rejuvaus uses skin-identical lipid barrier complex and dual-weight hyaluronic acid instead.
Airless, lightproof packaging.
Encapsulated actives, particularly retinaldehyde and vitamin C, are sensitive to oxidation. Airless packaging prevents the degradation that occurs in conventional pump and dropper bottles. The formula you apply on day one is the same formula you apply on the last day.
