Peptides and growth factors are naturally occurring plant proteins that stimulate healing and regeneration in living tissues, especially the collagen fibres in your skin. Collagen is the structural protein that keeps our skin firm.

Growth factors stimulate new collagen and repair the skin from the inside out without irritation, making them an excellent choice for sensitive skin. Think of them as messengers that tell your skin how to behave, but levels decline over time, and communication slows down.

When applied to the skin, they accelerate the growth of healthy skin cells and repair damaged skin tissues to soften the appearance of fine lines, acne scarring and enlarged pores.

Peptides are chains of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins such as elastin and collagen. They support and rebuild the skin, reminding the cells to repair sun damage, increase hydration levels and behave as healthy young cells. 

Epidermal Growth Factors (Oligopeptide-1) 3%

This repairing peptide, sourced from barley proteins, speeds up skin cell renewal and wound healing. Made up of 53 amino acids, it sends messages to repair ageing skin and cell DNA – changing the skin at a cellular level rather than just the surface.

Increased skin cell growth boosts collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid synthesis for smooth, plump, even-toned skin. This collagen builder is also preventative, slowing down the thinning of the skin and strengthening the barrier against pollution and premature ageing. It speeds up cell turnover to soften pigmentation, enlarged pores and post-spot staining for a healthy, youthful glow.

This skin-smoothing peptide is the ultimate prevention active: it helps muscles relax to minimise the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

It reduces the muscle contractions that cause expression lines, especially around the eyes and forehead, by safely inhibiting acetylcholine – a bit like a safe version of anti wrinkle injection treatments (Studies found wrinkle reduction after 28 days of twice-daily use).
