Can Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Retinol
Be Applied Together?
Not usually.... But with Rejuvaus. YES.
"The interaction of these ingredients with the skin depends on the specific forms of Vitamin B (Niacinamide), Vitamin C, and Vitamin A used.
Each of these ingredients has the potential to cause skin irritation, redness, and inflammation in various formulations.
However, Vitamin A is an incredibly crucial active ingredient for the skin and should ideally be applied twice a day."
HOW ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN REJUVAUS DIFFERENT?
Rejuvaus formulates with Retinaldehyde. This Vitamin A is not inflammatory or drying, and won’t cause peeling. It’s safe for everyday use and is up to 500 times more potent than other Retinoid derivatives due to its encapsulated slow-release nature.
Combined with potent encapsulated Vitamin B3 which is slowly released over 8 to 12 hours, this ensures you won’t suffer the classic ‘Niacinamide flare’ often present with a standard high strength Vitamin B3.
Vitamin C in acid forms can be problematic, often requiring separation from other products and a change in skin pH for optimal absorption. Rejuvaus uses Kakadu plum, an abundant source of non-acidic Vitamin C that is stable and readily absorbed by the skin. This type of vitamin C doesn't react negatively with other active ingredients.
